The Department of Human Services is headed by the Director of Human Services and includes the Division of Affordable Housing, the Division of Health, the Division of Recreation & Parks, and the Division of Senior & Social Services.

Division of Affordable Housing

The Division of Affordable Housing is responsible for administering state and local laws pertaining to affordable housing within the Township.  The Division provides support for residents of affordable units and acts as liaison to the Affordable Housing Committee.

Division of Health

The Division of Health, headed by the Health Officer, is responsible for enforcing state and local laws and regulations related to public health, administering laws related to vital statistics, and administering public health programs in the Township, including public health nursing, community health education, communicable disease control, and chronic disease control.

Division of Recreation & Parks

The Division of Recreation & Parks, headed by the Manager of Recreation and Parks, is responsible for planning and administering recreational programs for children and adults in parks, playgrounds, and facilities under the auspices of the Recreation Commission.

Division of Senior & Social Services

The Division of Senior & Social Services, headed by the Manager of Senior & Social Services, is responsible for administering programs for senior citizens residing in the Township, providing social services to residents, and administering the general assistance program in accordance with state regulations.
