Resident Alert: Millstone River Bridge Replacement Project to begin

Please be advised that on or about March 16, 2009 work will commence on the New Jersey Department of Transportation Route 1 Millstone River Bridge Replacement Project.  This will involve the replacement of the Millstone River Bridge on Route 1 and associated roadway improvements from Harrison Street in West Windsor Township, Mercer County to Princeton-Plainsboro Road in Plainsboro Township, Middlesex County.  The Contractor expects to work day and evening shifts as may be required to complete the project.  Work involving lane restrictions on Route 1 will be performed between the hours of 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM Sunday thru Thursday and 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM Friday and Saturday.
