UPDATE - Resurfacing of New Village Road between Stockton Lane and Marian Drive to begin on or about Wednesday, April 13, weather permitting
West Windsor announces that resurfacing a portion of New Village Road, between Stockton Lane and Marian Drive, will occur starting Wednesday April 13, weather permitting. Earle Asphalt has completed repairs to concrete curbs and crosswalks and will begin the milling and resurfacing work, which is expected to occur over several days starting Wednesday the 13th and going into the following week, with restriping to follow shortly thereafter, weather permitting.
During each day of this project, there will occur complete lane closures and detours around the work site, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Traffic delays should be expected.
The detour when work occurs on New Village Road, east of Edinburg Road, will utilize Edinburg Road, Village Road East and Southfield Road.
The detour when work occurs on New Village Road, west of Edinburg Road, will utilize South Post Road, Conover Road and Edinburg Road. A separate contractor is performing repairs to Village Road West in the Dutch Neck area, so use of that roadway is not recommended or guaranteed during the New Village Road resurfacing work.
Please honor all posted temporary traffic control measures for your own safety and the safety of others.
