West Windsor Township Receives $245,000 From NJDOT
West Windsor, N.J. -- West Windsor Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh announced today that the Township has received allotments from New Jersey Department of Transportation in the amount of $245,000 from the Transportation’s Trust Fund.
The letter from NJDOT Division of Local Aid and Economic Development Director, Michael Russo, states funds will serve to advance transportation initiatives without increasing the tax burden on the citizens.
Mayor Hsueh sought these funds, on behalf of the township, for Dutch Neck Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Improvements as well as Wallace Road Reconstruction near the train station.
Mayor Hsueh stated, “This is another example of the ongoing cooperation between the Township and the State for the improvement of our local transportation network. We will continue to participate in all available programs to improve and protect West Windsor.”
