Mayor Hsueh is pleased to announce that the West Windsor Plainsboro (WWP) Babe Ruth League has received notice that it has been chosen to host the NJ State Tournament for the 13 year old division in 2010.

Tournament play is scheduled to begin in July with the games to be played on Ciufanni Field at the West Windsor Community Park. Babe Ruth is well represented in New Jersey with close to 100 cities and townships having teams, for West Windsor Plainsboro to be chosen as the host site speaks highly of the accomplishments that they have made over the past few years in growing both the league and creating a first class playing field.  In 2009 the league fielded over 6 teams in the Babe Ruth Spring League with three going on to state district play. In addition Ciufanni Field underwent significant improvements.  The infield was resurfaced and the outfield was aerated and reseeded.  The field is now under a regular weekly maintenance schedule.  A state of the art scoreboard was purchased for Ciufanni and it will be installed for play this spring.  Add in the renovated dugouts and other facilities and a soon to be added state of the art lighting system and you have a great place to play baseball!

With WWP chosen as the host site for the state tournament, it will automatically qualify to play in the tournament as the host team.  The 13 YO state team will be chosen from the players that participate in the spring league.  Registration will begin shortly at:
