Inclement Weather Policy:  In the event of inclement weather, the Senior Center follows the lead of the local school district, West Windsor-Plainsboro School District, in determining closings.  If the schools are cancelled, all activities, programming & transportation at the Center are cancelled for the day.  However, the offices will remain open.  

If there is a school delayed opening, call the Senior Center for details, 799-9068.  Announcements are made on Comcast Channel 27 and Verizon Channel 42.  If a state of emergency is declared by State or Municipal officials, the offices will be closed.  Announcements of a state of emergency is made on all local AM & FM radio stations.



The West Windsor Senior Center was started in 1979 and moved to its present facility in 1989.     The Center was renovated and enlarged in 2009.  The Center now has a lounge, two large multi-purpose rooms, a library, computer room, game room equipped with a pool table, health suite and sitting area, a large patio, kitchen and offices.  The Lounge/Lobby, appointed with comfortable furniture and reading materials, provides a place for reading, relaxing and conversation with old and new friends.

The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday, 8am – 4pm.  The activities and services of the Senior Center are available to West Windsor residents 55 years of age or older.  Parents of adult residents are also welcome to participate in the Center’s activities.

The West Windsor Senior Center is the focal point in the community for information, activities and services for the older adult and those who participate in their care.  A calendar of activities is published bi-monthly and mailed to all those registered with the Senior Center.  The Center provides activities in the areas of health/wellness, education, recreation, interest groups and hobbies.  Day trips are also arranged throughout the year.
