To report a street light that is out in your neighborhood first check your electric bill to see which utility company provides your service.  Please note your account number and prepare to provide the following information:

If you are a customer of Jersey Central Power and Light – call 1-800-662-3115 or go to the website at

1. http://www.firstenergycorp.com/index.html and provide the following information:
2. Under “Customer Service”…..select your electric company “Jersey Central Power and Light”….. and Select Go
3. Click on “Report a Street Light Outage”
4. Complete the form indicating where the outage..

If you are a customer of PSE&G call 1-800-436-7734, press 4, press 2 and provide the location of the street light, the nearest cross street, and the pole number (usually on a metal strip attached to pole) or visit website at:
