Municipal Court Attendant
The Township is seeking to hire a qualified individual to work under general direction of the Municipal Court Judge with duties that include providing first layer of protection for entire Court Staff and Judge by screening all individuals entering the court; inspecting and performing various safety and security checks of the municipal court building, including but not limited to ensuring various entrances and exits are properly secured and unoccupied; screening all individuals entering the Court facility; inspecting the metal detector and handheld wand to ensure it is functioning properly and performing necessary calibration; proving information on Court facility policies.
Salary: $25.12 - $30.00/hour
Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills and communication skills required. PTC certified (current or retired). Must have a minimum of ten years of law enforcement experience (retired) or must have eight years of experience with one employer and must possess a four-year degree from an accredited educational institution.

Engineer Technician - Community Development/Engineering
The Township is seeking to fill an Engineer Technician position. Under the supervision of an engineer or other supervisor, assists in the performance of public infrastructure projects, including project definition, design, and coordination with consultants and contractors. Maintains Township GIS and CAD systems. Responsible for grant applications and permit compliance. Assist with design, bidding and award, and construction phases of municipal capital projects. Review and comment upon engineering aspects of residential and commercial land development applications for compliance with municipal codes. Review aspects of comments and testimony at Technical Review Committee and Planning Board meetings as required. Monitor construction phase of land development projects including inspections, punch lists, guarantee action recommendations.
Qualifications or Requirements: Two-year degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology program. Three years technical experience performing engineering support tasks in the planning, surveying, design, inspection, investigation, and/or maintenance of various types of engineering projects.
Salary Range: $64,820-$88,149

Part-Time Secretary- Construction Code Enforcement
The Township is seeking to fill a Part-Time Secretary position in the Code Enforcement and Construction Division. Under the supervision of the Construction Code Official, assist in the code enforcement process by providing general customer service duties including answering telephones, internal and external correspondence assisting and greeting the public, schedule inspections, review applications, collect fees and fines, maintain department files and general administrative tasks including Microsoft Office and other computer-based programs.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of secretarial/clerical experience with excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
Salary: $20.05 per hour

Public Safety Telecommunicator
The Township is seeking to fill a full time Public Safety Telecommunicator position. This is a 9-1-1 dispatcher position who receives all requests for public safety 9-1-1 service/assistance by means of radio, telephone, in-person requests and dispatches the necessary police, patrols, fire departments, EMS/first aid, wreckers, utilities or auxiliary agencies as required. This involves communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with all public safety personnel, members of outside organizations and the public, including individuals who may be in an agitated or distraught condition. Ability to speak and hear clearly while using various communication devices such as telephone, radio, walkie-talkie and/or in person is required. The successful candidate must be able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
Salary Range: $49,852-$69,657
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalent; Possess proper credentials for 9-1-1 Dispatch/EMD and NCIC/CJIS certified. Prefer candidates with prior experience. Valid NJ driver’s license.

Residency Law:
