COVID-19 Update – August 19th, Wednesday

Apology for being a day late with the update.

We had only two new Covid cases since last Wednesday, one of which was related to an earlier case. Our total number of positive COVID-19 cases stand at 216, out of which 181 individuals are cleared out of isolation. We continue to monitor and contact trace every positive case.

The grace period to pay 3rd quarter property taxes expires tomorrow (Friday 21st). Payments received after that day will be charged interest from August 1st.

Today’s picture by Richa Bansal is a beautiful view of the Mercer county boat house, location of last two Mayor’s balls to raise funds for the West Windsor police department and the Princeton Junction volunteer fire company respectively. We are hoping one day we will have an opportunity to host another Mayor’s ball to raise funds for a West Windsor non-profit organization. This year’s recipient of the Mayor’s ball was the West Windsor Arts council. Even though we won’t have the mayor’s ball, I encourage you to donate directly on their website. They can use all the help they get.
