Request for Public Records Form

The Clerk’s Office will acknowledgment receipt of your request.  If you have not received an email acknowledgment within 2 days of submittal please call our office.

The New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), effective July 8, 2002, affords individuals greater access to government records for both inspection and duplication. The public has access to government records, except those documents which fall under the defined exclusions. The Municipal Clerk has been designated as the official Custodian of Records. With the completion of the Request for Public Records form and delivered to the Municipal Clerk, access to most documents can be attained.   • Police Records
    To obtain Police records under The New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA) please fill out the Request for Public Records form and return it to the Clerk’s Office for processing or you can obtain the form from the Clerk’s Office, located in the Township Municipal Building, 271 Clarksville Road between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
